Make-up haul for May (Part 1)

This month I have purchased quite a few make-up products as well as clothing but for this post I'm going to show you all things make-up!

Most of these products are highstreet/drugstore brands and are available in most places, however there are a couple of more expensive products which I decided to treat myself to.

The first product is one that I have wanted for a long time now, and it is the Urban Decay Naked Palette. This palette is one the best selling palettes and it's not hard to see why. With gorgeous neutrals ranging from matte browns to shimmery golds and intense navys. As of yet I've only used a few colours but I'm definitely excited to try out this product. One thing to be said about this product is that you get a lot of fall out when using these shadows and quite a few people have said that they crease, but luckily this palette comes with a mini sample size version of Urban Decay's Primer Potion and if you use this then the shadow definitely lasts.

                          Naked Palette - £36.00 (available from Debenhams,beautybay.com)

My next purchase was the Real Techniques 'your eyes/enhanced' starter kit. These brushes are a huge hit in the UK and in America and are definitely worth the hype. These brushes are by Samantha Chapman - Pro make-up artist and beauty blogger- you may know her better as Pixiwoo. These brushes are great and are very reasonably priced for the quality that you get. I'm absolutely going to invest in some more of these brushes.

Deluxe Crease Brush
Pixel-Point Eyeliner Brush
The whole set - £21.99 (available from Boots)

The last product I'm going to include in this haul is the Revlon 'Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain' in 040 Rendezvous - a gorgeous orange. I already have one of these lip stains in the colour 005 Crush, which is a lovely plum colour. I love this one and decided to try out a brighter more summery colour so I opted for this one. These balm stains go on wonderfully and last a good amount of time too. When first applied they have a 'balmy' texture and a slight peppermint scent, however these soon wear off, though the stain remains. These are really easy to use and although they are VERY similar to Clinique's Chubby Sticks, they are still great products.

Kissable balm stains - £7.99 (available from Boots and Superdrug)

Swatch of 040 Rendezvous

Well that's all for today! There are actually a couple more products in this haul but I thought I would space them out, rather than it being one very long post. Have you guys tried any of these products? If so then comment below and let me know what you thought of them :)
